Wednesday 1-3-2023 This evening, I concluded the activities of the second track of the Regional Development Exchange Program entitled “Leading the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 - Class of 2023”, which is implemented by the Misr El Kheir Foundation through its NGO Development Programme, and sponsored by many local and international organizations, and with the participation of 50 participants from NGOs from Countries (Egypt - Morocco - Syria - Turkey - Qatar - Mali - Lebanon - Yemen - Tunisia - Algeria - Sudan) During the training, the following main topics were covered: * * Introduction to development * *Environmentally sustainable * * Economically sustainable * * Social sustainability * * Design thinking * * Dimensions of sustainable development * * Examples of sustainability applications and development goals. During the program's training sessions, participants reviewed their various development practices and linked them to the topics being raised, in addition to criticizing those practices and discussing their development and how to link them to the sustainable development goals. On the last day, the closing session was held to evaluate the training program with a speech by Mr. Mohamed Mamdouh - Head of the NGO Development Program at the Misr Al-Khair Foundation. During his speech, His Excellency explained that the Misr Al-Khair Foundation seeks, through launching regional training programs, to establish an interactive educational forum among workers in Arab NGOs to facilitate... Exchanging experiences and best practices and supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals, in addition to supporting innovation and creativity in designing development interventions that are implemented within the framework of sustainable development. At the end of the program, the participants were assigned to design a graduation project as part of the procedures for passing the regional training program.
